The international festival of good food gets together the lovers of gastronomy to our city in the Finnish Archipelago, Turku. For one week a group of international chefs and bartenders will create their own twists in the culinary map of Finland!
Best ingredients of the Archipelago
The guest chefs are challenged to create their own 4 course menus from the best ingredients of the Archipelago, the area with over 20.000 islands. It is definitely allowed to bring some own flavours but locality and freshness are the essence during the festival week. In the bars the bartenders will create their own cocktail menus bringing great ideas and experiences to the Finnish cocktail scene!
Although the chefs have a competition during the festival week the competition is definitely not the main focus. In matters of taste there will be a lot of lovely disputes until late this week!
An honorable group of judges will do the preliminary selection from three groups and the three will compete in the final.
So come to try out the top cuisine of Iceland, Estonia, Ukraine, Finland and many others in Turku on the first week of October 5.-9.10.2016.
